Super sad news from Archipelago:
“After many years and over 30,000 hollowed out flaming pineapples, the time has come for us to shut the doors to our little slice of island life. We’ve helped bring tiki back to DC, made a lot of dan dan noodles and navigated a global shutdown while always keeping the pina coladas flowing… but our time at the corner of 12th & U comes to an end on Saturday August 26th. Come by, swig some rum and as always don’t be a bummer.”
“Well we don’t know where y’all have been hiding these past few years…. But we’re overwhelmed with the turn out to see us off. As we enter our last week we wanted to answer the two questions we keep getting from everyone but haven’t had time to answer individually. Also if you get a drink in a solo cup this week blame the sticky fingers of all the revelers that have been to see us the past 2 weeks. Alright head down and back to it for 4 more days of frosty beverages.”
