“New LGBTQ+ Bar Opening in former Whitlow’s Space”

2014 9TH Street, NW previously home to Echo Park and Gaslight

From an email:

“The owners of the Dirty Goose have acquired the space at 2014 9th street, formerly Gaslight Tavern, Echo Park, and recently Whitlow’s. And will be opening a new/second LGBTQ+ bar called Shakers.

As that area of the U Street corridor is currently evolving, the opening of the new space will be providing the atmosphere of neighborhood bar/nightlife hotspot, while providing a wide array of events (and food from neighbor Whitlow’s). They’ll be opening in mid-July.”

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
