Flashback: Anita Hill Mural in Woodley Park

“Dear PoPville,

I grew up in DC, and recall distinctly that for many years in the 90s and maybe even into the early 2000s there was a large mural of Anita Hill basically across the street from the famous Marilyn Monroe mural at 2602 Connecticut Avenue NW.

I currently cannot find any reference to or image of the mural (checked Flickr and Google Photos, among other searches), but would love to find a photo so I can not-so-discreetly show some general support for women, sexual assault survivors of all kinds and revulsion with many of the Supreme Court’s recent anti-democracy rulings at the same time by putting a copy up in my cubicle.”
