Update from a reader: “I saw it happen! The car flipped four times and then a man around age thirty or late twenties went running out of the window of the car and ran away. Turns out he stole the vehicle.”
and
“He was going super fast and ran the red light, luckily the car stopped flipping before it went into the traffic on the other side or on a pedestrian.”
DC Fire and EMS reported:
“Crash with vehicle overturned 20th & K Sts NW. No entrapment. 1 patient to be evaluated.”
And a few minutes later they reported another incident:
“Another crash with vehicle overturned 19th St & Va. Ave NW. Overturned box truck. Checking for injuries.”
