“DIG, the chef-centric eatery based in New York City, will make its DC debut on April 30”

1301 Wisconsin Ave, NW

From a press release:

DIG, the chef-centric eatery based in New York City, will expand into Washington, D.C. with the launch of a restaurant in Georgetown. Located at the corner of N St. and Wisconsin Ave NW, DIG will make its debut on April 30.

DIG’s menu is scratch-cooked, featuring nourishing foods that are both familiar and surprising. The menu is rotated regularly to showcase the freshest vegetables of the season. Highlights include

everything from salads to composed market plates like the Classic DIG (charred chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, charred broccoli w/ lemon, brown rice w/ garlic aioli).

The Georgetown location will offer an expanded DIG menu with housemade sandwiches, fresh baked focaccia and a kids menu. There will also be pastry selections like cookies, flourless chocolate brownies and sticky carrot cake. In addition, the restaurant will be one of the first to feature DIG Dinner Boxes, a customizable and easy option for feeding the whole family for just $40.

For its grand opening, DIG will host a knife cutting ceremony and give away free tote bags with Spindrift to the first 100 customers. One lucky customer out of the first 100 will be randomly selected to win $500 in DIG credit.

DIG is also partnering up with Van Leewuen to give the first 100 customers promo cards for a post-DIG treat at their nearest DC location. In addition, DIG is teaming up with Soul Cycle Georgetown to do a raffle for free classes. The first day of proceeds from walk-in sales will be donated to the Hoya Hub Food Pantry, located on Georgetown University’s campus.

DIG is located at 1301 Wisconsin Ave NW, and will be open daily from 11am-10pm.”
