I was standup paddle boarding from Georgetown to chain bridge and stopped off in a little cove. This area was perfect pond-like conditions and pretty shallow.
I saw a large orange fish and chased it around and then discovered tons more. I’m almost certain they are Koi that you usually see in a pond.
Someone probably let them out into the river or a toilet and they made a home and population here.”
