Thanks to Rebecca for passing on this great Kickstarter:

“Foxes At Work
A Little Red Fox Comic Cookbook

WHAT IS IT?

A cookbook with gourmet comfort food recipes from the menu of Little Red Fox! Plus, silly all-age comic strips set in a bustling cafe.

We’re back! And this time we’re bringing Little Red Fox to YOU!

When we announced the closure of Little Red Fox – our beloved neighborhood cafe and bakery in Washington, DC – we never could have anticipated the outpouring of love and support from our community… or the incredible number of requests for recipes! Now, we’re putting together all your favorite Little Red Fox recipes into a home-cook friendly format, and we need your help to make this happen!

What will be in it? 60+ of your favorite Little Red Fox recipes, including:

our super secret hot sauce recipe
breads, pies, pastries, and other sweet & savory treats
every single LRF burrito and breakfast & lunch sandwich
our top-selling prepared foods staples like kale salad, soba noodle salad, and pot pies
tips, tricks, and sauces to add that special LRF touch

And just like the menu at Little Red Fox, there will be offerings for every diet, all with careful allergen notations (vegans: don’t fret, we got you chickpea aioli, cauliflower chorizo, vegan breakfast burrito and more!).

Here’s a working list of Little Red Fox recipes we intend to include in the book, so that you can have Little Red Fox food at home whenever you want!

You can read more and and contribute to the Kickstarter here.

We’re about a month out from summer. That means you’ve still got time for spring cleaning!

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, shared her go-to spring cleaning tips with WTOP News. Step one? Declutter. Get rid of items you don’t use, find space for items that need a home and organize those areas.

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
