This hole has been outside in a public area on K Street in Mount Vernon Triangle for what must be over a year now and it’s only getting bigger.
I have called 311 to report it as have multiple other people I’ve spoken to about the issue and there’s been no changes – except the hole just getting bigger. When I called again yesterday they told me the request is expected to be completed on or about 4/10/2024.
The area where it’s located is a small fenced in grassy area where a lot of residents of the area walk their dogs so it seems pretty dangerous to just leave it there, especially as it’s only getting bigger.”
