I was walking down Barracks Row and noticed the Tortuga restaurant is closed/windows covered. It was a Mexican ish restaurant a few years ago and the turned over to this. Curious if it’s changing form again?”
Tortuga posted on their IG December 6th: “Thank you to everyone who has supported Tortuga over the years. We have closed for remodel, but remain open for holiday parties and private events. We can’t wait for you to see what’s next!”
Their website still says:
“We will be CLOSED for remodel beginning December 5.

Our CARIBBEAN-INSPIRED menu boasts classics such as Jerk Chicken and Mofongo while also sticking to beachy basics like tacos or peel and eat shrimp”

Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
