Update: “we will choose a new name for our speakeasy” Side Door Speakeasy Coming Soon to Capitol Hill

212 7th Street, SE

Thanks to John for sending: “Sign outside Harvest Tide in Eastern Market. Seems like Harold Black Speakeasy (upstairs at the former Acqua al 2) will be resurrected?”

Hmmm, maybe related to the Side Door at Pub and the People in Bloomingdale?

Update from Harvest Tide:

“Regarding the name, we want to avoid creating confusion with another small business in the area; therefore, we will choose a new name for our speakeasy. We will announce it in the next few days!”

“Featuring a delectable tapas menu created by chef Danio Somoza, sip on one of our creative craft cocktails from our signature drink menu or try a tantalizing dessert cocktail that is like no other! Chocolate-rimmed wine glasses and espresso martini, to name a few. Enjoy our eclectic captains’ wine list, or bring some friends and share bottle service tableside. All in a swanky room with a warm cozy vibe.

A secret password will be sent every Thursday that must be shown for entry!
