From a press release:

“Today, Hoffman & Associates, a leading developer of innovative mixed-use and residential communities across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, including the $3.6 billion Washington, DC waterfront neighborhood The Wharf, along with its partner D.C. United, announced that the newest location of the one-of-a-kind entertainment concept Brooklyn Bowl is coming to Parcel B at Audi Field, which is located just outside of the stadium between Gate A and Gate B. The first retail concept announced for this dynamic mixed-use development, Brooklyn Bowl will span two floors and anchor the double-sided retail and entertainment corridor between Parcel B and Audi Field, activating the center of the neighborhood with an energy that will enhance the space and bring people from across the city and region.

“When we made the decision to invest in a stadium in downtown Washington, DC we were very intentional in our efforts to acquire additional land surrounding Audi Field to further develop the Southwest neighborhood of the city,” said Jason Levien, Co-Chairman and CEO of D.C. United. “Brooklyn Bowl is one of the most vibrant destinations for entertainment in the marketplace and we’re excited to introduce them to the community as a neighbor to Audi Field.”

Brooklyn Bowl DC will be the first location in the DC metro area and the fifth location for this genre-defying entertainment concept, which opened in Brooklyn, New York in 2009. Featuring a 1,200 person capacity concert venue, Brooklyn Bowl DC’s 38,000 square-foot location will connect the ground and second floor, bringing to the District a broad mix of sought-after live music programmed by Live Nation, 14 lanes of bowling, a craft bar and a menu curated by New York City’s Blue Ribbon Restaurant Group. With the incredible proximity of the bowling lanes and concert stage, Brooklyn Bowl will offer a unique experience of enjoying a show while eating, drinking and bowling with friends.

Boasting a wide array of musical acts spanning multiple genres, Brooklyn Bowl’s live entertainment programming will offer something for everyone, from multi-genre national touring artists to New Orleans brass bands, hip hop legends, world music stars, dance parties and Bob Marley inspired “Rock and Roll Playhouse” weekend matinee shows for families. The venue’s thoughtfully-designed spaces will be easily customizable to accommodate private gatherings of various sizes.

“Washington, DC’s dynamic live music scene and vibrant culture made the District a clear choice for where to take Brooklyn Bowl next,” said Peter Shapiro, Brooklyn Bowl co-founder. “We are excited we found the right partner in Hoffman & Associates. Their experience developing three successful live music venues in the city’s Wharf neighborhood make them the perfect fit for us. We’re thrilled to be able to bring our mix of live music, great food and bowling to this dynamic community.”

Hoffman & Associates is expanding its presence in Southwest DC with Parcel B at Audi Field. The $200 million mixed-use project is scheduled to break ground in 2023, and upon full delivery in 2026 will bring over 500,000 feet of total development, one acre of public space, 455 apartment residences and 49,000 square feet of ground-floor retail to the community. With nearly 80% of the entire retail space already leased over three years from delivery, the curated, neighborhood-driven retail environment will include restaurants and cafes in addition to entertainment anchor Brooklyn Bowl.

“We are excited to partner with Brooklyn Bowl to bring their unique entertainment concept to this vibrant community with the goal of adding to the energy of Audi Field all year round,” said Shawn Seaman, President at Hoffman & Associates. “Our vision for Parcel B at Audi Field is to bring an exciting sense of place that the whole community can enjoy, and Brooklyn Bowl, with the unique experience it creates, is the perfect addition to this growing neighborhood.”

With a community-first approach and partnership with D.C. United, Parcel B at Audi Field will enhance the neighborhood’s outdoor spaces through the delivery of a renovated Potomac Avenue Park, which will serve as a thoughtfully landscaped gateway to Buzzard Point, Audi Field and the 1st Street double-sided retail and entertainment corridor. Additionally, Volunteers of America (VOA) is a notable partner on the project, bringing 110 affordable senior housing residential units to Parcel B while designating the site as the organization’s future headquarters.

This announcement follows the recent completion of The Wharf, the iconic waterfront neighborhood developed by Hoffman-Madison Waterfront (HMW), the development partnership between Hoffman & Associates and Madison Marquette. The Wharf has reestablished DC as a waterfront city, now complete with a full mile of stunning architecture and a range of residential and retail offerings that extend from the Municipal Fish Market to Fort McNair, including exceptional culinary and entertainment options.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
