“Dear PoPville,
I live around NoMa, there’s a dozen cop cars and ambulance all at the North Capitol & New York Ave NW intersection, and police tape around apartment building adjacent to it. New York Ave is shutdown, and it’s a six lane road during rush hour, so this is rare. Anyone know what’s happened? Passerby said someone was shot, no more info.”
Another reader reported: “Heard a horrible explosion sound and tons of cops have been driving by and fire trucks and other emergency vehicles.”
