For background, a bunch of folks who use the Rush Rink at Watkins Rec have submitted many maintenance tickets to ask DGS to fix this light and deal with other issues with the space, like the metal benches that have completely pulled out of their moorings. I estimate that between 15-20 tickets have been filed over the years, with little response.
One item that actually did get a work order filed by DGS was this light, 3 years ago in October 19. Since it is still broken today, I decided to follow up and got this response (attached):
It’s a photo by the craftsperson who “fixed” the light showing their completed job including the still nonfunctioning light clear as day on the left! I can only imagine that they went there, saw half of it working, snapped a pic and moved on to the next. Vintage DGS.”
