Ten-minute walk to NOMA-Gallaudet metro stop on the Red Line and a 2 minute walk to Alethia Tanner Park and the Metropolitan Branch Trail. Dog Park is just down the street. DC Bouldering Project (climbing gym) is right behind the condo and so is Union Kitchen Grocery! 12-15 minute walk to Union market! There are also plenty of grocery stores close by, Harris Teeter and Trader Joe’s less than 15 minutes walking. New Rhode Island development with Alamo Drafthouse movie theatre and Metrobar are also less than a mile away.

The condo has hardwood floors (installed last year) and stainless-steel appliances. Washer and dryer on the second level, convenient to the upstairs bedrooms. The living room has a gas fireplace and floor to ceiling windows and is open to the second floor letting in good light. The condo is available starting September 12th (with some flexibility in move in date). Rent is $4200 dollars a month which includes water and parking. Tenant responsible for other utilities. Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
