“Dear PoPville,
Our kitty is bouncing back from an infection and is currently getting medication and some nutrition via an esophageal tube. She’s a sweet and gentle cat and tolerates the e-Tube feedings well.
For those unfamiliar with e-Tube feeding, it’s a pretty straightforward process and most cats don’t mind it; however, you need a bit of experience to know what to do, so we can’t just ask the neighbor’s kid to pop over and refill their dry food bowl like we’d normally do for a weekend trip.
My family is hoping to get away for a weekend later this summer and is hoping to find a cat-sitter with e-Tube feeding experience (maybe a vet tech) that can stop by 1-2 times a day for a few days while we’re gone. Any experience, ideas or recommendations?”
