What do others think about runners in the bike lane? It annoys me but my husband thinks it’s fine.
I specifically try to bike on roads with a bike lane, especially when I’m biking my kids. I don’t feel like I should have to bike into the car lane to avoid a runner — I think the runner should run around the biker since they are choosing to use a bike lane for running. I see this often on East Capitol street between the Capitol and Lincoln Park. I know there are pediatricians pedestrians on the sidewalk but it doesn’t seem overly crowded and I feel like a runner can easily get around the walkers.”
