Missed Connection – “riding our bikes up 11th St NW after midnight on July 4”

“Dear PoPville,

Hoping you can help with this missed connection. We were both riding our bikes up 11th St NW after midnight on July 4 — well, I guess it was July 5th by then. I was wearing a blue dress with red pop-art mouths all over it and playing music from a Bluetooth speaker.

When I turned onto O St., you passed me and said it was a great playlist. I told you it was Larry Levan / Paradise Garage — which you seemed to recognize and appreciate. You were cute haha, a guy, seemed artsy and like you bike ride everywhere, wearing shorts and a tank top and had your hair pulled back. At the very least you looked like good people and the kind of person I’d love to know in DC, who wants to bike ride these empty streets late at night and appreciates some disco music. Wish we’d been going in the same direction longer and had talked on the road. Long shot but thought I’d try!”

Ed. Note: If this is you, please email [email protected] so I can put you in touch with OP. PoPville is not affiliated with either party, please proceed with any potential connection at your own risk using caution as you would any online encounter. For those curious about past missed connections, many have been made and when possible I’ll try to update when/if more are made. The dude in workout gear MC was made!
