My dog is TERRIFIED of fireworks (thunder, too) so I am hoping other dog guardians have come up with work-arounds, other than buying a villa retreat in a remote region, which I can’t afford.
About 6 months ago, I started playing a thunder recording for short intervals while engaging in fun activities with her. But that is a long, slow desensitizing training method, and I am concerned that this 4th of July in DC will blow all that out of the water. Suggestions?”
