Our house in Dupont Circle has been infested with rats since January, and we’re at our wits end. We keep traps out and have tried to fill holes in the wall where we can, but we can’t seem to keep them at bay. Our landlord has an exterminator on retainer, but he’s useless- comes maybe once a month, sets a trap or two and leaves.
Can anyone suggest a pest removal company that actually investigates the problem to find the root cause?
Has anyone had a good experience with a company that was actually able to help their rat problem?
For context we woke up this morning to a rat having gone into a Fanny pack on a table and eaten an entire chocolate bar and a few weeks ago, we opened a cabinet in our kitchen to find a sick rat just sitting there staring at us. We can’t live like this!
