The 19,000-square-foot venue, once the original home of the city’s iconic International Spy Museum, has been transformed into a new social entertainment mini-golf experience featuring three 9-hole courses, each having its own unique theme. Guests will be transported into unexpected locations from immersive experiences including Art Museum, featuring bold and vibrant intricacies on display; Conservatory, decorated with giant redwoods and prickly cacti; and Illusion, where reality bends and all is not what it seems.

“From captivating gameplay and a vibrant aesthetic to creative food and beverage offerings, Puttery is going to take Penn Quarter’s social scene to the next level and quickly become a neighborhood staple,” said Massimo Gianetti, General Manager of Puttery D.C. “I can’t wait to officially bring the Puttery experience to D.C. locals and visitors alike.”

Putting is just a part of the experience. An unexpected menu of chef-curated culinary offerings is available for visitors to feel energized for a night of socializing and friendly competition. The exceptional menu features elevated shareable eats that do not compromise on flavor or presentation while taking guests by surprise with every bite. The Sous Vide Pork Belly is crafted with julienne cucumber, jalapeño, and pickled radish, dressed with hoisin glaze, nước chấm, and herbs; Tuna Stack featuring marinated ahi tuna, seasoned avocado, crispy sushi rice, mango cucumber pico, herb mango soy glaze, and togarashi rice chips; and Fig, Burrata & Serrano Ham Salad with dried figs, burrata, serrano ham, arugula, heirloom grape tomatoes, red onion, champagne vinaigrette, radishes, and toasted artisan bread. Larger, shareable options include gourmet pizza like Spicy Hawaiian, Sausage Pesto, Mascarpone & Mushroom, and more. Guests are encouraged to dine in at Puttery’s upscale lounge, whether they plan to golf or not.

Puttery boasts an extensive cocktail menu that pairs perfectly with its elevated bites. The craft cocktail menu offers guests a wide range of signature and classic cocktails to choose from such as the Margarita Standoff, Mean Machine, and much more. The venue features multiple bars throughout the space for visitors to enjoy their craft cocktails. Additionally, each course has a unique cocktail menu that offers exclusive themed beverages for guests to enjoy only while they’re playing on that specific course.

Massimo Giannetti, General Manager of Puttery, brings more than twenty years of restaurant management experience with some of the District’s most recognized chefs. Additionally, James Oakley, Executive Chef of Puttery, joins Giannetti and the Puttery team with more than 30 years of experience with exceptional brands in the hospitality industry from California to Washington, D.C. Chef Oakley is passionate about food and will execute his talents to bring the best meals to Penn Quarter.

Puttery offers several comprehensive event spaces that can accommodate groups of all sizes from small gatherings of 10 to a venue buyout for up to 350 guests. The space is ideal for birthday parties, corporate events, and social gatherings, offering a luxurious, lively, and vibrant atmosphere for visitors to enjoy a memorable cocktail or share a meal.

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
