Tickets Now On Sale for “Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience” Coming to the National Geographic Museum

“New Immersive Experience Opening June 17 Celebrates Centennial of King Tut’s Discovery and the Wonders of Egypt

WHAT: Visitors can purchase tickets starting, May 5, at 8:30 a.m. EST for “Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience”–a cinematic immersive exhibition that takes guests on a journey to one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of all time. Created in partnership with Paquin Entertainment Group and Immersive Experiences, the exhibition features innovative video projections and soundscapes that transport visitors to Egypt.

Traveling through galleries featuring a 280-degree digital screen and massive, immersive projections, visitors will experience the country’s ancient wonders, and meet ancient Egyptian gods like Ra and Anubis. Visitors will also get the chance to hear from National Geographic Explorers who continue to study the mysteries of his tomb and travel with the legendary pharaoh on his quest for immortality.

Timed tickets are required for entry, and advance purchase is strongly encouraged with sellouts expected. Prices start at $20 for adults and $12 for children ages 5-12, and $16 for students, seniors (62+), and military.

WHEN: Ticket on-sale begins Thursday, May 5 at 8:30 a.m. EST and the exhibition will be open from June 17, 2022 – February 06, 2023.
