Clock & watch repair recommendations

Alex asked yesterday: “hive mind, ISO a clock & watch repair shop to get this family heirloom working”

The early recommendations of which people are pretty passionate:

“Try the Old Clockworks in Rockville. They are great!”

“The Clock Shop in Vienna Virginia. Excellent service, scrupulously honest, and a decades old family business. Also, the room full of gorgeous grandfather clocks makes it worth going in just for that.”

“Highly recommend the repairs at Rodman’s (between Tenley and Friendship Heights) – the repair person has been reliable and honest every time and we have been going for many years. It’s located at a kiosk on the lower level.”

“You should probably hit up Tiny Jewel Box, who sells JLC watches, and see if they have recommendations.”

“There’s a watch/clock repair kiosk in wheaton mall, the fella there is a magician and can fix anything”

“Ecker’s clock and watch shop, Bethesda. Edward Compton.” (rec from the esteemed Gene Weingarten)

“Compton jewelers is fantastic”

“Eckers Clock & Watch Shop
