“MI VIDA 14th street: Alongside Culinary Director, Roberto Santibañez, KNEAD Hospitality + Design will open a new MI VIDA at the historic former Matchbox location on 14th street in summer 2022. This 3 level, 10,000 square foot space will feature 300 seats, two bars, a conditioned year round patio, and tons of private and semi private event spaces. The 14th street location will cater towards the late night crowd with subtle differences like after hours small plates. The location is starting to take shape and the team is excited to welcome guests soon!

“MI VIDA Penn Quarter: KNEAD Hospitality + Design with Culinary Director, Roberto Santibañez will be opening a 350+ seat MI VIDA at the former Rosa Mexicano location
in downtown Penn Quarter at the iconic Terrell Place. This sprawling single level 10,000 square foot space across from Capital One arena will feature 350+ seats with tons of private and semi private spaces. This location will have the largest MI VIDA bar to date along with a sidewalk patio. MI VIDA Penn Quarter will cater to the 9-5 crowd with great happy hour specials and a fantastic bar program with over 100 tequila and mezcal selections. The location is currently under construction and will be coming to you in Fall of 2022.

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!
The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!
What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
