“Dear PoPville,
We’re looking into getting our very small row house back patio professionally treated to keep the mosquitos at bay this summer. Last summer, they made the space nearly unusable well into October.
We do have a tree in our yard, which may be a contributing factor to why it’s so bad in particular.
We’ve gotten a few quotes from local vendors who would come every two weeks from spring throughout the summer, with the total cost being from about low $400s-$500. But one of them cautioned us that unless we can get our neighbors to do it as well, given how small our space is, it may not be as impactful as we’d hope. We’re talking to neighbors now, but not sure how likely it is that all 3 neighbors with adjacent yards (there is no alley behind us… we abutt another yard) to get on board with this cost.
I’m wondering if others have (a) recommendations for vendors and/or (b) experience as to whether or not it’s worth it if the other neighbors are not on board and/or (c) other DIY solutions that have been successful?
