“2D is on the scene of a confirmed shooting in the 1400 block of P Street, NW. No lookout.”

Alan Henney reported: “DOUBLE-FATAL SHOOTING— 15th St at P St NW-DC, on the second floor of the DeSoto Apartments. Two dead at the scene.”

Update from MPD:

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide that occurred on Monday, December 20, 2021, in the 1400 block of P Street, Northwest.

At approximately 12:03 am, members of the Second District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located two adult male victims, inside of a residence at the listed location, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and determined that both victims displayed no signs consistent with life. The victims remained on the scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The decedents have been identified as 27 year-old Nycholas Hester, of Houston, TX, and 25 year-old Johnny Coles, of Northwest, DC.

The preliminary investigation by detectives determined that the decedents exchanged gunfire inside of the residence.”

“On December 20, 2021 at approximately 12:28 AM the Fourth District was working a shooting in the 200 block of Allison Street NW. One adult male suffered gunshot wounds to his body and was taken to a local hospital. The case is being investigated by the Violent Crime Branch. “Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide that occurred on Monday, December 20, 2021, in the 200 block of Allison Street, Northwest.

At approximately 12:29 am, members of the Fourth District responded to the listed location for the report of the sound of gunshots. Upon arrival, the members located an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and determined that the victim displayed no signs consistent with life. The victim remained on the scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The decedent has been identified as 17 year-old Samuel Hernandez of Hyattsville, MD.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for each homicide committed in the District of Columbia. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by sending a text message to 50411.”

“On December 19, 2021 at approximately 10:48 PM the Fourth District was working a shooting in the 3500 block Park Place NW. One adult male suffered gunshot wounds to his body and was taken to a local hospital. The case is being investigated by the Violent Crime Branch. “Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide that occurred on Sunday, December 19, 2021, in the 3500 block of Park Place, Northwest.

At approximately 10:53 pm, members of the Fourth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim, inside of a vehicle, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and determined that the victim displayed no signs consistent with life. The victim remained on the scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The decedent has been identified as 28 year-old William Conry, of Northeast, DC.”

“Stabbing in the 700 block of Florida Ave NW Lookout for B/M with dreads.”

Update from MPD: “Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Monday, December 20, 2021, in the 700 block of Florida Avenue, Northwest.

At approximately 2:10 am, members of the Third District responded to the listed location for the report of a physical altercation. Upon arrival, members located an adult male suffering from apparent lacerations. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
