UPDATE: Russia House “shooting to open early January!”

1800 Connecticut Ave, NW

UPDATE from BrineOysterDC:

“Here’s what’s up (we share the same owners as Russia House!):
Most RH staff relocated during the pandemic, so they’ve been restaffing up and almost there! RH completed an entire remodel including a new bar, kitchen, bathrooms, & decor, & shooting to open early January!

“Dear PoPville,

Do you know what’s the deal with Russia House? They say they are still closed because of the pandemic.

Anyone know if they are ever gonna reopen? Would love to warm up and drink some vodka there given winter is coming up.”

“Due to the latest developments of Coronavirus in Washington DC, Russia House has decided to help fight against the spread of the virus and will be closed until further notice.
We apologize for any inconvenience and we hope to see you soon.

Thank you for understanding and stay safe.”

An email to Russia House has not yet been returned. Updates as soon as more is known.
