Julie writes: “4-6 gunshots followed by big police presence (ambulances too) on the corner of 4th and Decatur, 9AM Saturday. (The only thing that surprised me was how quickly police cars can go over speed humps without damage!)”

“On December 11, 2021 at approximately 8:58 am the Fourth District was working a shooting in the 4800 block of 4th Street NW . One adult male suffered gunshot wounds to his body and was taken to a local hospital. The case is being investigated by the Fourth District Detective’s Office.
