Update from an email: “The construction at Hook Hall is unrelated to the Holiday Market. The Holiday Market will be held inside of Hook Hall just like last year. I believe the Hook Hall construction outside will be ongoing for the next few weeks/month…” Ed. Note: Updates when we learn what theme is coming next regarding the construction.

“The Park View Market is bringing back their artisan-focused holiday market series this December at Hook Hall. Featuring items from local artists, makers, and specialty food producers, the Park View Holiday Market will once again serve as a hub for the community to shop local, support small businesses, and find unique gifts during the holiday season. The market will be held from 10am – 2pm on Saturday, December 4, 11, and 18.
“We launched this holiday market last winter and despite all that was stacked against us, the outpouring of support from both vendors and neighbors was unbelievable,” said market manager, Rebecca Bailey. “Shoppers really want to buy from local businesses and show up for their community — so we can’t wait to make that happen once again.”
The market will highlight more than 60 vendors throughout the holiday series, including: Culture Socks, Designed by Ashley Scales, PLNTR, Cannabreeze, Wild Place Prints, Zenit Journals, Personal Best Ceramics, Body Scrubs by Rebeca, Diane D’ Costa Art, Chinese Street Market, and Federalisms.

The Park View Market opened at Hook Hall in January 2020 to provide economic opportunity and access to local food and goods to the community, but was forced to close for most of the year due to COVID-19. After seeing the toll the pandemic had taken on local businesses and entrepreneurs, the market team launched the first Park View Holiday Market in December 2020. In 2021, The Park View Market operated every Sunday at Hook Hall as an inclusive space for community members to shop for fresh food and build lasting relationships with local makers, growers, and neighbors.
