Ed. Note: If this is you, please email [email protected] so I can put you in touch with OP. PoPville is not affiliated with either party, please proceed with any potential connection at your own risk using caution as you would any online encounter. For those curious about past missed connections, some have been made and when possible I’ll try to update when/if more are made. Connection made with Adams Morgan dog walker.

“Dear PoPville,

I, wearing a Cleveland Browns jersey, passed by the most attractive man ever on the corner of I St NW & 5th today (Sunday), 3 Oct around noon. We smiled at one another & he said “go Browns!” I had a mini heart attack at the time and just smiled back, but I 100% regret not asking him to watch the game with me. Hoping you’ll post this & he’ll see it so we can connect!”

“I got on the Greenbelt-bound Yellow Line on Monday, October 4 around 5:30 PM in Crystal City and made frequent eye contact with a tall, blonde girl who also got on the train in Crystal City. I was wearing grey slacks, blueish white shirt, and nikes and you were wearing blue jeans and a white blouse. I was reading a John Grisham book, “A Time for Mercy” and listening to some solid jams; you also were listening to music or possibly a podcast.

We caught ourselves looking at one another several times during the metro ride. You got off at L’Enfant Plaza while I was continuing onto Gallery Place. I didn’t catch your name or your number. Let’s grab coffee or drinks sometime!”

Monday evening (Oct. 4th) around 7pm at Dawson’s Market in Dupont (known as Glen’s until recently), I was in line to pay, wearing black bike shorts, white t-shirt and gold hoop earrings. A very well dressed, tall, dark haired man joined me at the back of the queue. He was wearing a burgundy-ish Ted Baker sports coat and navy trousers. I asked what colour he would call his sports coat and to that he replied a little stunned, but friendlily, “uhh I’m a guy, so I don’t know these things..” Nonetheless, I complimented him on his attire and he seemed appreciative. It didn’t occur to me until I was at the cash paying that I could have kept chatting with him!”
