Last night my friends and I were in Adams Morgan sitting outside in a streetery and a woman at a table near us had her purse snatched off her table by a car that drove by. The car just slowed down and someone reached out and grabbed it.
It was a split second- no one noticed it. So please, make sure everyone sitting outside is keeping their belongings on their person- phones, keys, bags, etc.”
