Today’s Rental was chosen for the living room, rug in the kitchen, tapestry in the bedroom, shampoo/soap holder in bathroom and exposed brick, obviously

This rental is located around 9th and O Street, NW. The Craigslist ad says:

“$3,200 / 2br – 1000ft2 – See it today! Light filled Logan/Shaw 2 BR (O St NW and 10th ST NW)

Come by to see a large renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with working fireplace, lots of windows and new hardwood floors. Approx. 1000sqft of space in this end unit house that gets lots of natural light.

This apartment also has a renovated kitchen and bathroom, wine fridge, gas range, washer/dryer, dishwasher and exposed brick.

Best Walk Score in the City–You are steps away from the newest and largest Giant grocery store in DC–the O Street Market Giant and just a short walk from lots of other wine shops, bars and restaurants as well as public transportation. Also a short walk to the bars and restaurants on U St, 14th St, Wholefoods, and neighborhood favorites like Sundevich, Chaplin, Convivial etc are just steps away.

With a 98 Walk Score–Everything is at your doorstep!

There is a separate unfinished basement (not part of the rental) but you would have use of it to store large items like luggage, bicycles etc. Note for people who might want to share with a house mate–one room is very large (with two full size closets) and one room is smaller (with one closet) but large enough for a full size bed and dresser/desk.

Available to show by appointment. Available to rent Sept 18th. If you are interested, please provide a name and contact phone number in response to this posting. No smoking/pets. Credit/background check required.
Thanks!”

Ed. Note: PoPville is not affiliated with any ‘Rental of the Day’ properties. Rent at your own risk and proceed with caution as you would with all Craigslist listings.

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
