Updates from Le Diplomate: “Mushroom tarts & escargots à la bourguignonn are a GO for dinner this evening! We open for dinner service at 5pm. MERCI to everyone who sent us thoughtful messages, checked in on our team, and to the @dcfireandems.”
“On 7/14/2021, a small fire broke out in our kitchen at Le Diplomate. The restaurant was evacuated, the fire was extinguished by DC Fire, and thankfully no one was injured. We are in the process of repairing the kitchen and we plan to reopen for dinner service this evening pending inspections. We will share an update this afternoon as soon as a reopening time frame is confirmed.
