Today’s Rental was chosen because I’m wondering what you think about the communal kitchen setup

This rental is located at 3301 16th Street, NW. The Craigslist ad says:

“$1,250 A sunlit studio is available for rent (Columbia Heights)

This sunlit studio in a group house will be available by April 1st. It features with a full size bed, a desk that is facing the street and tons of natural light, a dining table, a kitchenette with kitchen appliances (a hot plate, electric kettle, a microwave, an oven toaster, and silverwares), and a en suite bathroom.

The utilities (gas, electricity, and water) are fixed $60 a month. A Wifi is the courtesy of the landlord.
Most of the tenants are professionals and others are students in their mid 20s.

There is communal kitchen that is shared with 2/3 other tenants, a lobby, a coin operated laundry are on the first floor.

About the neighborhood
The house is in 16th St NW. A bus stop S2, S4, and S9 is right across the house. It is also walking distance to all excitements at Columbia Heights and to the Green Line and Yellow Line at the Columbia Heights Metro Station stop. Some groceries shop (ie Target and Giant) and numerous restaurants (Cava, Chipotle, Panda express, and Chick fil a ) are adjacent. A Meridian Hill Park and Rock Creek Park are within distance.”

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
