From an email:

“For the first time ever, American Ice Company is hosting a July 4th neighborhood cookout!

Taking a break from our annual Crab Crack, we want to keep the tradition of providing the neighborhood with a spot to celebrate the holiday without having to trek down to the Mall.

Our good friends from Meats and Foods will be on hand with their tasty chorizo & chicken sausages

($5 each.) Our regular menu of tasty briskets, chicken, and yes – Swachos will be available. There are also plenty of vegetarian options (veggie dogs, pickle platters, and veggie Swachos) on deck.

Drinks are provided by Narragansett beers with sampler buckets of their Rhode Island Ice Tea, Del’s Shandy, and Fresh Catch Pale Ale ($10 for 3 per bucket or $4 per individual cans.) Our signature pickleback shots are available as well as our regular drinks menu.

Open to the public, the event is free and will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. No need for reservations or tickets.

American Ice Co. will be open Sunday, July 4th from noon until the fireworks end.

Dogs allowed”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
