“On 4/15/21 at 8:35 pm, First District officers responded to the 700 block of 10th St NE for the report of an carjacking. The victim reported that they were approached by an suspect armed with a handgun. The suspect demanded the victims vehicle. The victim complied and the suspect was last seen fleeing in a 2015 Ford Escape with VA tags in the 900 block of H St NE.
The suspect was described as a young black male armed with a handgun.
