“Dear PoPville,
received a letter from the IRS stating that my direct deposit had been scheduled for March 13. Same information displayed on the Get My Payment website. Never received the money. After about two weeks, I called my bank. They said they have no record of payment from the IRS.
Checked Get My Payment again a few days later, and it says my check was mailed April 2.
Still haven’t received a check (and have USPS Informed Delivery, so I can see online that it hasn’t come through and somehow disappeared).
Went online to my personal IRS account and it says that I received $X for my 2021 stimulus payment.
What exactly do I do if the IRS is telling me I got my money, and I didn’t get it? Can’t call, they won’t answer. Nothing I can find on their FAQ page. I’m at a loss. Thanks.”
