Readers reported: “Police roped off area in front of Indigo at 3rd & K St. NE.”

“Shooting at K&3 NE by indigo. I think I heard at least 8 shots. Victim was still moving when the ambulance took him away. Hoping he makes it”

MPD reported: “Alert: Shooting Investigation in the 300 block of K St NE. No lookout”

Readers started reporting in Park View at 11:23pm: “any idea what this helicopter circling the Park View area is about? Been going here for at least 15 minutes”

A reader reported: “any idea what was going on here? We were woken up by (probably three) gunshots on the 4900 block 7th St, NW”

MPR first reported at 2:46am: “4D is on the scene of a confirmed shooting in the 5000 block of 7th Street, NW. No lookout.”

Also from MPD: “Members of the 4th District responded to a sounds of gunshots call in the 600 block of Farragut St. NW. Upon arrival members located one adult victim suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for treatment.
