Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by a volunteer who compiles these pets weekly from local shelters.

Meet Her Majesty, the Queen of Floof, Sasha! If she were a human, we’re sure she’d be a star in one of those shampoo commercials. But Sasha isn’t just model good looks, she’s also a laid back, independent, low maintenance cat. She spends a lot of her time snoozin’ in the various cat beds, with her preferred spots the ones with good views out the window, so she can watch the world go by. When she’s not napping, Sasha likes to play. She loves things she can bat around, like the trackball toys. Or that she can chase & hunt. The laser pointer and cat dancer are two favorites. It’s especially entertaining to watch her get some air time when she’s playing!

To see more of Sasha, check her out on instagram. To learn how to adopt her, please email [email protected]

ENNNN HUT!!! Do you live by a routine? Do you love training? Do you love teaching new tricks? Do you believe that practice truly means perfect? Then Ritz is the dog for you!

Ritz is an intelligent, friendly, and playful pup who loves to learn and will do anything for chicken or cheese. He will greet you with happy tail wags and a gentle lean in for the good scratches! If given the green light, he will happily land in your lap for a proper snuggle. Ritz waits patiently to get ready for walks and loves exploring the world.

Ritz has been described as a “dream in the home” and already knows a handful of commands. He is highly treat motivated, loves to play, and always looks forward to learning new tricks. He is very eager to take part in all family activities and truly sticks to his favorite people like glue. He will be a great addition to an active, adult-only family that can take him on several long walks a day and continue to work on his obedience training and leash manners. Ritz prefers the serenity of rural life as the sights and sounds of the city can be overwhelming for him. His favorite trick is sitting between your legs in the middle position because that’s where he feels safest with his human. He would love to find an experienced and confident family that will help him feel safe and stay calm around big vehicles, loud noises, other dogs, and excitable children. Ritz can be picky when it comes to dogs so he prefers to be the only dog in the home so he can soak up all the attention and treats you have to offer. While Ritz is small in stature, he is big on needing plenty of space, so an apartment or small condo would not be his ideal living environment. His dream home is one with a fenced yard with grass as far as the eye can see for him to play fetch and explore the outdoors. Ritz is looking forward to finding his forever home so come meet him today!

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
