Your Afternoon Animal Fix – AdoPtville

If you have any animal/pet photos you’d like to share for the regular fix please send an email to princeofpetworth(at)gmail(dot)com with ‘Animal Fix’ in the title and say the name of your pet and your neighborhood. AdoPtville is run by a volunteer who compiles these pets weekly from local shelters.

Echo is a very sweet kitty. She is looking for a family that is very patient and can let her feel comfortable in her space. Once she gains some trust and knows that you will respect her boundaries, her playfulness comes out automatically! She loves her toys, especially the fishing wand and any kind of woolen ball/toy. She likes attention but only when she wants it, which I think will change as she grows more comfortable around people.

She LOVES being brushed.  Her foster just has to pick up the brush and she’ll be making her way over right away! While she’s not much of a cuddler right now, her foster thinks that with patience and lots of motivation she will get there someday. She’s a young playful kitty at heart, and that’s clear after spending a few weeks with her. She just takes time to open up, but the end result is well worth it!

Ellie Mae

This young girl is full of energy and ready to go, go, go wherever you go! She loves playing with other dogs and will need plenty of opportunities for that.  She can be fearful of new people, so an apartment or condo where there are a lot of interactions may not be her best situation.

Ellie May loves daycare and loves to play with other dogs; 2-3 days a week of daycare, or the equivalent, calms her down a lot! To be her best self, she needs to go to a calm, structured home with someone who can continue to work on her training and confidence building.

Finding a gift for moms can be difficult. Google “Mother’s Day gifts,” and you’ll scroll through endless lists of beauty products, candles and fuzzy robes. Sure, those are sweet, but sometimes it’s fun to surprise loved ones with something a little more, well, practical!

Here’s one idea: Give her a gift certificate for a home cleaning from Well-Paid Maids. It’s the perfect “thank you,” “I love you” or “you’ve got this” for any mom. She can schedule the home cleaning at her convenience and breathe easy knowing she has one less thing to do.

Our cleaners will take care of everything, including vacuuming and mopping as well as cleaning and dusting countertops, tables, mirrors, appliances and more. Sinks, toilets, showers and appliance exteriors also get a good scrub.
