“This winter, Little Sesame is popping up at Sugar Fox located at 5027 Connecticut Avenue NW in Washington, D.C. The collaboration with Little Red Fox owners Matt and Jena Carr, Little Sesame will introduce their Shawarma Spiced Rotisserie to the Chevy Chase community.

Spinning hits – old and new — from the DC born fast casual’s playlist, headlining with Shawarma Spiced Rotisserie FreeBird Chicken or Whole Cauliflower. Rotisserie offerings can be purchased on their own or as part of a family meal, where paired up with Little Sesame signature sauces and choice of smallish sides, easily feeds your three to four person pod. A family-style Winter Vegetable Fattoush Salad and Little Sesame’s Freshly Spun Hummus — which we always place at the center of our table — is available for purchase by the pint.

A selection of natural wine, funky libations and craft beers, mostly in cans, will round out the offerings. Dessert will be Middle Eastern inspired sweets in collaboration with the Sugar Fox bakers.

“I grew up down the block and I’m super excited to bring our food back to my old neighborhood” notes Little Sesame co-founder Nick Wiseman.

Finding a gift for moms can be difficult. Google “Mother’s Day gifts,” and you’ll scroll through endless lists of beauty products, candles and fuzzy robes. Sure, those are sweet, but sometimes it’s fun to surprise loved ones with something a little more, well, practical!

Here’s one idea: Give her a gift certificate for a home cleaning from Well-Paid Maids. It’s the perfect “thank you,” “I love you” or “you’ve got this” for any mom. She can schedule the home cleaning at her convenience and breathe easy knowing she has one less thing to do.

Our cleaners will take care of everything, including vacuuming and mopping as well as cleaning and dusting countertops, tables, mirrors, appliances and more. Sinks, toilets, showers and appliance exteriors also get a good scrub.
