“The Tacco” Has Launched — Offering BOGO Tacos & Margaritas for PoPville Readers

Open Doors Group’s new ghost kitchen “The Tacco” launched this month and is now available for takeout and delivery.

Offering fresh tacos, burritos and bowls that are free of MSG and GMOS, The Tacco provides their customers with delicious food, mega-sized to-go margaritas and of course — a relief from this crazy year. Their tortillas are pressed in house and their ingredients are only from the best local and ethical sources.

But most notably: The Tacco is offering a buy one get one FREE deal on their entire menu through January 15 for all customers who write “POPVILLE” in the special instructions when ordering takeout from their website, Doordash or GrubHub. Amidst the news of D.C.’s indoor dining shutting down, it seems The Tacco has come at just the right time!

If you are a lover of Taco Tuesday, you’ll love having a chance to make everyday “Tacco Tuesday.” Vegetarian, Pescetarian and Meat-lovers alike, The Tacco has something for everyone.

Check out The Tacco’s menu!

The Tacco was equally inspired by Mexico City street food and the American spirit — put together it has launched as a modern taqueria in the heart of D.C. Currently a ghost kitchen only offering takeout and delivery, The Tacco has plans to one day open at a physical location. They aim to find their place in the D.C. community as the go-to spot for fresh and delicious Mexican cuisine.

Plus, who doesn’t want some free tacos (and of course, MARGARITAS)!? Don’t forget to write “POPVILLE” in the special instructions when ordering takeout on their website through January 15.

The Tacco’s menu is available for takeout and delivery orders Monday-Friday from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. You can follow The Tacco on Instagram @thetaccodc.

We’re about a month out from summer. That means you’ve still got time for spring cleaning!

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, shared her go-to spring cleaning tips with WTOP News. Step one? Declutter. Get rid of items you don’t use, find space for items that need a home and organize those areas.

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
