“Dear PoPville,
I’ve been up twice this week between the hours of 3am and 4:30am because of a delivery truck for Safeway on Georgia Ave in Petworth (loud banging, automatic lift noise, beeping of the lift, the engine rumble the entire time of the large truck). I have to be up for work at 5:15am and I live in an apartment above the Safeway. Shouldn’t these delivery trucks be going to a loading dock?
There is a loading dock underneath/behind Safeway where their customer parking is. In the year that I’ve lived above this Safeway, I’ve experienced this in the middle of the night and early morning at least 3 times a month, every month. Would anyone know what, if anything, can be done or said about this? Or am I just being a Karen?”
