I’m sure I’m not the only one who invested in a new (portable, wood-burning) firepit for the yard to make at-home distancing more tolerable this season.
A few questions for the community, since I didn’t see anything recent on the subject:
Any recommendations for where to purchase firewood?
I don’t need a whole cord delivered, just ideas for reliable retailers in town where I can grab the occasional bundle — do grocery and hardware stores generally carry, or should I call ahead? Any specific spots?
I’d also welcome tips for optimizing enjoyment (e.g. best way to arrange the wood?) and safety,l (beyond keeping 15-20ft away from structures and only using on a proper surface)?”
