Today is the 57th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s I Have a Dream speech made on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. On August 28, 1963, more than 200,000 demonstrators showed up for what was billed as the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. They gathered gathered in peaceful demonstration to promote Civil Rights and economic equality for African Americans, urging Congress to pass the Civil Rights Act. . . . On July 2, 1964 Congress at last enacted the Civil Rights Act which created a more positive step in reaching the promises of the Emancipation Proclamation decreed by President Abraham Lincoln 101 years earlier. . . . Today, the @nationalactionnetwork hosts The Commitment March, beginning in the same spot at the Lincoln Memorial. For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
