“Dear PoPville,
My neighbor has a garage abutting my property with peeling paint that is continmating my property. I tested the paint with a 3M lead test kit and it tested positive for lead. It is a rental house and I have contacted the owner and informed them.
They have not responded to me directly but their property manager contacted me to ask about the issue. I believe they hired someone to test the paint but since then it’s been radio silence for the last week (and yes I have contacted them multiple times). This is an issue of great concern because I have a young child.
What are the next steps I need to take to get this issue resolved?”
