From Call Your Mother:

“Call Your Mother, Washington D.C.’s nationally renowned, locally grown “Jew-ish” deli, opens in Georgetown, Wednesday, July 29.

Sitting pretty in pink at the corner of 35th and O streets NW, Call Your Mother Georgetown is the bagel brand’s fourth location. The shop boasts 1100 square feet dressed in the original pink color from the building’s previous occupant, GreenWork Florals, and accented by Call Your Mother’s signature teal.

“We’re excited to become a part of this community. It feels like this space was meant for us,” says Daniela Moreira, co-owner and Executive Chef of Call Your Mother. “We’ve been ready to open in Georgetown for months and we know Georgetown has been ready for us, too. We’ve all been waiting on this for a while now and have been getting asked every day for the last 6 months when we’re opening. We’ve always believed we’d be a positive addition to the neighborhood. We’re just some friendly folks selling bagels and coffee out of an already pink corner building and we’re so grateful to have the opportunity to do that.”

The unique shade of pink isn’t the only thing specific to the Georgetown spot. While each Call Your Mother shop is currently adhering to social distancing guidelines and only offering pickup service via online ordering, CYM Georgetown will remain pick up only once restrictions for restaurants are lifted. But like their Park View, Capitol Hill and Bethesda locations, guests will enjoy outstanding woodfired bagels, chocolate babka muffins, and favorite signature sandwiches like the beloved Gleneagle made with candied salmon cream cheese, cucumbers, crispy shallots, and seasonal greens on a za’tar bagel and Sun City, stacked with bodega-style local eggs, American and Cheddar cheeses, spicy honey, and either local bacon or pastrami on an everything bagel.

Call Your Mother Georgetown is located at 3428 O Street NW, Washington, D.C. and open from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. daily. Online orders can be placed at here beginning at 7:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
