“Today’s wild VIDA update. Says they’re opening on June 24” – “although we are working to get that date moved forward”

Thanks to Jack for passing on the latest Vida update:

“To our VIDA Fitness Members,

I want to thank you for your many heartfelt thoughts and suggestions for our reopening effort. The health and safety of everyone that enters our clubs continues to be our top priority. That has been our primary focus since March 15th and your recent input has made our plan even better. I am grateful for your insights.

We also received several questions, so we created a FAQ document with the answers. Keep sending us your questions as you have them to [email protected] and we will update the FAQ webpage daily.

My goal is to help the government understand that we have gone to great lengths to prepare a safe reopening strategy on behalf of our industry. We want the city to put eyes on our plan and engage with us in a dialogue that will allow for the safest possible reopening for the fitness industry. We also want to get you back into our facilities without undue delay. The best way to make sure that happens is to have you contact the Mayor’s office in support of the plan.

We ask you to please support our plan on HOW the Mayor should allow gyms to reopen in DC.
Phone Number: (202) 727-2643
Email Address: [email protected]

I acknowledge that many of you are not yet ready to return to the gym and may not be ready on Wednesday, June 24th (the city’s most recent timetable although we are working to get that date moved forward). You have supported our employees, you have supported our desire to reopen, and I equally support your desire to return to the gym only when you are ready. To that end, you may freeze your membership at no cost until you are ready to return. Please visit our Covid-19 Membership Options Page for a full list of your options. These options are available now and they will remain available even after we reopen.

What I can promise you is that when you come back, you will be in an environment that passes the most stringent safety standards and we will continue to implement the very best practices available in our industry.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
