Thanks to Marshall for sending: “I was biking the C&O Bike trail today and I noticed a car in the channel near Chain Bridge Rd & Canal Rd NW. I was wondering if anyone knew how a car got into the C&O Canal in a weird location as it looked like it drove down the bike path then drove into the water.”
DC Fire & EMS reported last night: “Update Canal water rescue. All searches were negative. #DCsBravest have removed all personnel from the water. Turning the incident over to law enforcement.”
