“Dear PoPville,
I’m wondering if anyone else has heard loud singing somewhere in the vicinity of 17th and Church Street NW. Today it started before 8:30 am. It goes on for hours. Co-workers have commented that they can hear it in the background on video conference calls. Whoever this guy is, he sings ALL. THE. TIME.
Please don’t get me wrong. I don’t begrudge anyone for doing what makes them happy, especially right now. I’d just really like to ask him to take it a down few decibels below American Idol audition.
I know the Spanish guy and it’s definitely not him. We’re talking Broadway audition level singing. One Saturday, he did Gloria Gaynor “I Will Survive” at least three times in a row. I love me some Gloria, but come on!”
