Thanks to Bridget for sending the photo: “MM Lafleur opening tomorrow at Union Station in the spot previously occupied by Swarovski”
From a press release:
“Traveling for work can be a drag–but M.M.LaFleur’s newest store in D.C., M.M. To Go, is here to help. Opening on Friday, February 7, the 930-square-foot concept shop is located in Union Station, on the ground floor next to the Amtrak ticket station, and directly across from Magnolia Bakery (we know!)
Say you find out last-minute that you need to present at that conference you’re headed to (we have a wrinkle-resistant suit you can stuff in your carry-on). Or maybe it’s two hours before you need to board a plane to San Francisco, and you just learned that not all of California is 80 degrees and full of palm trees (help yourself to a cashmere sweater or three).
M.M. To Go features travel-focused merchandise, as well as, a lounge and charging area for women to relax if they are early or their train is late. Hours of operation are Monday – Saturday: 10a-9p; Sunday: 12p-6p.”

Ed. Note: How Swarovski’s previous tenure here lasted so long shall puzzle scholars for decades to come.
